The UK does not have a system of ‘sworn translators’ like in other countries. The equivalent to a ‘sworn translation’ in the UK is a ‘certified translation’ and we do provide certified translations.
If your translation is going outside the UK and you need a ‘sworn translator’ to perform it, let us know when you submit your documents for a quote, and we will try to help.
No, we only provide certified translations of your documents. There are specialist agencies that specialise in providing the equivalence of foreign qualifications.
We suggest that you contact UK ENIC about this.
The price depends on the nature and length of the document but our minimum price for a standard page is usually £35 + VAT. If there are more pages there would be an average price per page.

Getting Started
No, we do not specify a minimum order size for translation services.
If you already have a scanned copy of your document, just drag and drop this file where we ask for this. Alternatively, Select 'files to upload’ to browse your computer and upload your files that way.
If you don’t have a scanned copy yet, all you have to do is open our platform from your mobile phone via translate.dialexy.com and simply take a photo of your document. Please make sure the photo is clear and the text is legible before you click submit.
Sometimes, we may not be able to provide an instant quote. This can happen for a few reasons, such as:
- The images are of poor quality.
- Multiple documents were uploaded at once.
- We do not routinely translate the type of document you have uploaded.
To improve your chances of getting an instant quote, try uploading high-quality images and request a quote for each document separately. If you still don't receive an instant quote, no worries! Please contact translate@dialexy.com and one of our team members will review your documents and send you a free, no-obligation quote as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and patience!
The process of obtaining a quote from Dialexy is very easy. Simply upload your document, select the language that you need the document to be translated to, and submit your request. Depending on the language, you may receive an instant quote or our team will email you a quote within one working day.
If you need a translation specifically for a UK ENIC or Ecctis application, please visit our dedicated UK ENIC and Ecctis services portal here.

We specialise in education, immigration and areas of professional mobility. Each translation project is assigned to a translator based on their subject matter expertise ensuring the highest quality outcome.
When applying to study abroad, (prospective) students often have to provide certified translations of personal documentation, such as previous qualifications or visa-related documents. Without clear guidance and previous experience, navigating this process and finding suitable certified translators who meet university requirements can be confusing and time-consuming.
Dialexy helps international students access the highest quality certified translations effortlessly. Our team has helped thousands of international students apply for visas all around the globe, from the UK through to the USA and Australia.
We work with regulatory bodies like UK ENIC and ICE as well as academic institutions to make sure your translations are up to the required standards.
Our innovative approach combines cutting-edge AI technology with the subject matter expertise of our professionally qualified translators, ensuring not only accuracy but also cost-effectiveness.
All our translators are certified by the professional bodies in their respective countries such as ITI, CIOL in the UK, ATA in the United States and CTTIC in Canada. For countries where certified translation is a regulated profession, we work with sworn translators of those countries.
My Translations
Your certified translation is made up of three items: the certification, a copy of the original document, and the translation. All three documents will carry our brand marque. The certification document will contain a verification code that is unique to your document and can be used by the recipient to check the authenticity of the Certified Translation online. You must submit all three parts together for the translation to be officially valid and accepted by UK institutions.
We aim to deliver your translations within the timeframe specified in your quote. If you have not received your translations by that time, please follow these instructions:
- Check that your inbox is not full and that you are still receiving emails
- Check your spam folder in case our email has been delivered there
- Send us an email to translate@dialexy.com and we will send you an update as soon as possible.
No, your draft translation will not be accepted as the translation must contain the certification. The draft translation is for you to review to ensure that your details are correct before we print it off and certify it (we try to avoid unnecessary printing!). The final version will be sent to you once you confirm you are happy with the draft.
Yes, the electronic copy of your translation is suitable to be uploaded as part of your UK ENIC or Ecctis application as well as to most Higher Education Institutions in the UK. The electronic copy of your Certified Translation will have three items: the certification, a copy of the original document, and the translation.
Your certified translation is made up of three items: a copy of the original document, the certification, and the translation. You will receive an electronic copy of all these documents by email. If you need a hard copy we can send you one by post for an additional £10.00.
