UK ENIC, previously called UK NARIC, is part of the European Network of Information Centres and is our national centre. Ecctis is the company that provides the UK ENIC service on behalf of the UK Government which includes the Statement of Comparability.

The UK ENIC Statement of Comparability is a statement which shows how the international qualifications of a holder compare to UK qualifications. This will help you show education institutions, professional bodies or future employers the level of qualification you have.
What are the Ecctis Industry Skills Statements?
The Ecctis Industry Skills Statements are special purpose statements for those working in construction, plumbing, electrical or the land-based sector. This can help you apply for: a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card, a Land-based Industry Skills Scheme (LISS) card, an Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) card or a Joint Industry Board for Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering Services (JIB-PMES) card.
What are the Ecctis Visas and Nationality Services?
The Visas and Nationality services are provided by Ecctis on behalf of the UK Home Office. These services allow Ecctis to give evidence of the level of your degree and English language proficiency. This will be useful if you are applying for one of the following visas: Family (including spouse), Settlement or Citizenship/Naturalisation, Tier 2, Skilled Worker, Skilled work: Health and Care, Start-up and Innovator or Minister of Religion.
What is a certified translation?
A certified translation is a translation that has been performed by a translator with the relevant qualifications. It can apply to academic qualifications but also to medical certificates, criminal records or bank statements when a visa is required. The Home Office sets the specific criteria to be met by the translation company so that a certified translation can be accepted.
